Immunomatics Wins SuperCrowd Award - Superpowers for Good Live Pitch
Audience selects Immunomatics for the SuperCrowd Award following live pitch
SAN MARCOS, CA (October 2, 2026)

Immunomatics has won the SuperCrowd Award at the September 30 Superpowers for Good Live Pitch, an audience-selected honor presented by The Super Crowd, Inc.
Seventeen companies applied to participate in the pitch; four were selected as finalists. Immunomatics joined Airthium, Anywhere Dx, and Eagle Cathedral City to present their businesses and answer questions from a panel of experienced investors.
Following the presentations, viewers voted for the company they wanted to recognize with the SuperCrowd Award. “We set a record for live pitch votes tonight,” said Devin Thorpe, host of Superpowers for Good.
Immunomatics received the most votes.
Founded by scientist and blood stem cell transplant survivor Lidio Meireles, PhD, Immunomatics is developing artificial intelligence software designed to help transplant teams assess donor-recipient compatibility more precisely. The technology uses genetic and clinical information to estimate rejection risk, improving donor-recipient matches for organ and blood stem cell transplants.
During his presentation, Dr. Meireles shared how his own experience receiving a stem cell transplant to treat lymphoma inspired him to pursue a new approach to donor selection. He also discussed Immunomatics' NIH Phase I Small Business Innovation Research grant, collaboration with the UC San Diego Immunogenetics and Transplantation Laboratory, and plans to advance proof-of-concept work and clinical validation.
“We’re honored to receive the SuperCrowd Award and grateful to everyone who took the time to watch our pitch and vote for Immunomatics,” said Dr. Meireles. “This recognition is especially meaningful because the work we’re doing began with my own personal experience as a transplant recipient.”
Immunomatics is committed to developing and validating technology that could help transplant teams make better-informed decisions about donor selection for their patients.
The Superpowers for Good Live Pitch is produced by The Super Crowd, Inc., a public benefit corporation focused on impact crowdfunding and investor education. The live event gives founders an opportunity to present their companies to investors and respond to questions.
Immunomatics is currently raising capital through a Regulation Crowdfunding offering on Wefunder to advance its technology through proof of concept and early clinical validation.
